It was a great day for Butterfling in the Toronto area today.

Wild Indigo Duskywing   2
Black Swallowtail            2  
Cabbage White                 38
Common Sulphur             3
Eastern Tailed Blue          8
Spring Azure                     7
Pearl Crescent                   5
Northern Crescent            18

What are good spots to find these guys in the GTA. I would love to see something other then the monarch or cabbage white.

look at the bass of the Lesly st spit or High Park , also a good spot is the new Butterfly area at Humber bay east . I wood also look at any park with large flowergardins ..

Where is the "butterfly area" in Humber Bay? I think I will make my way to High Park this weekend and try to see some of these guys.

The HBBH (Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat) is on the north shore at Humber Bay East.  From the main parking lot walk to the northeast and cross the footbridge.  The main part of the HBBH is on the right after you cross the bridge.  If you are driving, you can also park on Marine Parade Drive but I'm not sure if there are day & time restrictions.  (Coming south from the intersection of Lakeshore Blvd and Parklawn, if you follow the road as it curves to the left rather than turning in to Humber Bay Park, you are on Marine Parade Drive.)

There is not much around the Humber Bay Butterfly Habitat :!:   :(   :!:

While High Park & Leslie Spit is good :) , the Rouge River Valley and Parks close to the Metro Toronto Zoo is excellent  :D  with many varieties of butterflies. Another spot will be the Don Valley Parkland and bike trail behind Science Center.

I had a good day at Humber bay Butterfly garden yesterday May 31 06

Cabbage White 2
Northern Crescent 6
Spring Azure 9
Pearl Crescent 2 (vary late date for the first flight)
Eastern Tailed Blue 9
Common Sulphur 1
Black Swallowtail 1
Monarch  2

All in all a nice walk .

Thanks for the info.  8)
I haven't been able to find any Pearl Crescent in Ontario, all my sighting is in the US  :(

Here is a Silvery Blue from the Second Marsh last weekend, May 27th.
