Common Tern Nesting at Col Sam Smith

We had a walk around the park today and saw this tern sitting on one of the grebe platforms.We were surprised to see that it had laid one egg!

Good catch John. I have seen a pair off and on this platform; I wondered why the Grebes abandoned it. Now someone else is making use of it.
