the first is a song sparrow...second not sure but could see it as a indigo bunting i think? (more by elimination than a positive id)

Thanks for that. Would that sparrow by a fledgling? I compared some photos of the female indigo bunting with mine and I think you hit that one right. Everything fits and they have been seen at Riverwood other times this week.

I see nothing to indicate a recently fledged bird (not very good at aging birds) most of the birds born this year would have lost the yellow gape (beak hinge) that very recently fledged birds show.
