Although nothing overly uncommon was seen it's was still nice to get out for a few hours with friends and scour the park. Between 11:00am and 3:00pm we identified the following 37 species...
Long-tailed Duck, Red-breasted Merganser, Double-crested Cormorant, Turkey Vulture, Cooper's Hawk, Red-tailed Hawk, Killdeer, Ring-billed Gull, Iceland Gull, Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, Eastern Phoebe, Blue Jay, American Crow, Black-capped Chickadee, Red-breasted Nuthatch, White-breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creeper, Carolina Wren, Golden-crowned Kinglet, American Robin, European Starling, Chipping Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Song Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, Brown-headed Cowbird, House Finch, American Goldfinch, and House Sparrow.
This small 'Garden' park is situated atop the Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto's east end and is one stoplight east of the intersection of Kingston Road and Birchmount Road.
