Ashbridges Bay - week of May 1

wind was blowing in the wrong direction. few bugs, pretty cold out.
nothing on the southwest corner.
eastern side south of the boardwalk had some ok activity. female black throated blue, yr warblers, hermit thrush.
kingbird.
catbird.
lots of swallows
a mute swan.
terns.
still some winter ducks in the bay

I was at Ashbridges on Thursday from about noon-1:45.  The best bird was an Indigo Bunting found out by the far side of the Marina Bay (SW side). Others included:

Greater Yellowlegs
Least Sandpiper
Iceland Gull
Baltimore
Palm
BG Gnatcatcher

This morning at Ashbridges - May 5 (starting around 8-10)
It was cold and quiet on the bird front.

Highlights:
2 Northern Waterthrushes (one near the fence to the marina and the other by the pebble beach)
Palm
Yellow-rumped
Swamp Sparrow

And the usual suspects

sort of quiet there today, but the birds may be out after lunch.
lots of yellow rumped. 2 palm warblers on the southern rocky shore.  someone said they saw a Cape May, but i didn't.
lots of (assorted) swallows.
