Backyard sightings today, May 9, 2017:
Apart from the usual visitors (goldfinch couples, red-wing blackbirds, cardinals, slate-coloured juncos, housefinch couples, woodpeckers, red-breasted nuthatches, chickadees, blue jays, etc.),
today we saw:
- a Nashville Warbler feeding in our appletree.
- a Brown Thrasher foraging on the ground for a good 10 minutes.
- a White-Crowned Sparrow
