after unfruitfully looking for an hour, a really nice birder showed me the least bittern. it's hunting and happy as can be.
please remind dog owners to keep their dogs on leash while at SS Park and please explain clearly why they should keep their dogs on leash i.e. rare bird species spotted along the water
