Caliper Lake Ontario marsh birds

I am trying to ID some small birds on the edge of Caliper Lake in the wild rice and cattails.  They are brown but have a yellow breast.  Very hard to get a picture but I don't think they are marsh wrens.  Marsh wrens don't appear on the expected bird list for this area on ebird either.  Any idea what these little birds could be?  I only have a picture of an eyeball.  :)  Diane

Likely Common Yellowthroat (female or juvenile are fairly plain with varying amount of yellow on the breast)

Yes.  You are probably right.  Do you get marsh wrens here?  I saw brown birds flying out also.  Could be some kind of sparrow but seemed smaller.  Thanks for your help

Marsh wrens are not present anywhere near there per Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas.  Sedge wrens might be, swamp sparrows definitely are.

Thanks.  Most likely swamp sparrow but I can't record it.  I'm just not sure.  I appreciate your help.
