While trying to capture a shot of this solitary Black-throated Green warbler near the mouth of the Rouge
a Red-eyed Vireo came down between me and the warbler ostensibly to check me out. What is it with vireos?
I've been scrutinized with proximity by a Warbling vireo, Red-eyed vireo, Philadelphia vireo and Blue-headed vireo.
Are vireos the most curious birds in Ontario? Well no, I guess chickadees deserve that honour, but this vireo thing
is freaking me out. It sounds like I'm complaining. I'm not bummed-out by this phenomenon, it is just weird that's all.
