delta = female or fall/winter chestnut sided warbler?
echo = great blue heron throat beard?
foxtrot = common grackle or any one of 500 other birds with similar legs

yes these are getting harder

I've widened the image to help probably give it away.
Like someone commented, it's a fine line between too hard and too easy.
Sometimes that line is not there at all.

Wow, that is an impressive guess, especially since a juvenile Little Blue Heron can have
either lighter or darker legs depending upon its progress toward maturation. I would be
thrilled to report to you a correct ID for Foxtrot, but the reality is not that exciting.
You are perfectly correct in identifying those feet as belonging to the heron family and
not any of 500 other birds. You can discern from the texture of the rock perch that Foxtrot
is MUCH larger than a Grackle. I think you've guessed it now even before I finish this text.

a Hooded Merganser, but it DOES float.
