Friend of mine had this bird pecking at his window for several hours until he let it in, it is very tame, looks like house finch but do not think it is. One red, and one silver band. It is eating seeds they bought black oil sunflower. Is it a type of domestic finch. Looks closer to a Black Rosy Finch, or a Brown-capped Rosy Finch. He lives in Toronto, while not impossible highly unlikely it is.
