Hi everyone,
Yesterday I spent the day at Kortright Conservation center. There were alot of standard birds there and overall the birding wasn't spectacular (though the frogs are out in force). However, I did see a total of five wood ducks, including two glorious males that could be seen very close to the blind at goose island and also trumpeter swans were around there. I did find two northern water thrushes in the grasses near the pond in along the energy trail, right near the wind turbine. Is this alittle early for this species? I saw them quite well including the yellow wash on the breast.
