A pair of Green-winged teal and two pair of Wood ducks on Amos flood-plain.
The male Teal was especially handsome ... bwu-i-ful plumage. The green stripe
on the head was rich and the golden yellow on the tail was exquisite.
Also a pair of Hooded Merganser present and a few Bufflehead.

Barely sat down and an Eastern Phoebe appeared. A Hairy woodpecker behind
me and a Pileated way up in the bare tree tops. Both Song sparrow and three
chipping sparrows. At first I thought they were Tree sparrow until I got a closer look.
