Wet Woods: week of May 13

weird few days at the Woods. today, there was good quality but not crazy quantity.

Kentucky (possibly two??)

Bay breasted
Black throated Blue

the blackburnian, kentucky and magnolia were all in the same spots they've been in for the past 3-5 days. so i'm wondering if these guys aren't in the mood to move on?

I saw all the above except for the Tennessee and Kentucky over at the east end by the populars early this morning.  Also, saw a few Redstarts and Black and White.  That was definitely the hot spot with the sun early today.  Also larger number of red-Breasted Grossbeka and my first Scarlet Tanager.  Another birder saw a yellow-throated Vireo.  Definitely more birds came in last night.

Edit: almost forgot the Indigo Bunting as well. All seen before 8am.

this was all observed over 75 minutes of birding around the main woods. didn't make it to the bowl.
no kentucky warbler
