deer in Brampton, Etobicoke

I spotted 4 deer in the Claireville Conservation Area, north of Albion and Steeles, on the east bank of Humber River Saturday afternoon.  This afternoon, I spotted a deer on the east bank of the Etobicoke Creek, just north of the Queensway and The West Mall.  Also spotted a large owl(not sure what species) and a groundhog.  I am curious if anyone has seen deer along Etobicoke Creek between Rathburn Rd. and the Lakeshore.

yup i see them quite regularly
i also see them in the field on the west side of person beside the 401
there are many deer in toronto and gta especially big parks like taylor creek and warden woods

Last Wednesday morning, I saw a deer on the east side of the DVP, just south of the Don Mills Road exit. Over the last few years, I've seen them in the Don ravines close to the 401 but this was the furthest south that I've seen one yet.

ive seen them as far south as the laird street bridge i think thats the street or even just under where the subway bridge goes over the dvp

The furthest south I've seen live deer is at Pottery Road and Bayview.  I also saw a deer killed by a car at the junction of Bayview and Rosedale Valley Road. I know that others have seen deer as far south as Riverdale Park.

We saw a doe on the bank of the Credit River yesterday, just north of the QEW.  She didn't seem too nervous as we drifted by in a canoe.  That's the furthest south I've seen one recently.  

A few years ago I saw a doe & two fawns at Rattray Marsh.  (Another 30 metres further south and they would have been in the lake!)

Admitedly I have no sense of direction..south to me is the lake. Ive seen deer right along the shoreline at the bottom of the bluffs,at Kingston Rd and Glen Everest Rd. I see them each year. They often come up into yards and the various parks along the top of the bluffs to eat. Ive seen adult females with small ones young enough to still have spots.

Mouth of the Rouge River, Lower Bluffs, Spit, Toronto Islands...

Deer are great swimmers and we must remember that alot of these areas aren't as far from each other when one is down by the water.
