DE Junco showed up in Milton back yard on Saturday also had White Breasted Nuthatches on the neighbours tree this morning.

Still seeing Turkey Vultures soaring about Milton. Last Wed or Thurs a very large group of TV's(50) soared low over the facility that I work at @ 12.35 pm.

I am pretty sure I spotted an American Tree Sparrow on Sunday on our Lilac bush in the front yard.

Very different fall compared to last year, 20 plus at cottage on Oct 21th last year.

Napper, calling for snow

The first DE Junco for the season showed up on Saturday.  I've had White-breasted and Red-breasted Nuthatches around the last month or so. On Sunday had a kettle of 27 TV's that were flying low then soaring higher, not directly overhead but a bit to the north of my yard in north Mississauga.  An RC Kinglet showed up on Sunday also.  The House Sparrows have grown in numbers since last year.  I guess they had a very successful  breeding season.
