North on Altona Road from Kingston Rd.
Pass Sheppard/Twyn Rivers
Make a left at Old Finch,
west on Old Finch and south again on the first street,
which is closed except for local traffic but go down it anyway.
You will see a hydro corridor on both sides of that road
(the road is called either called Pinegrove or Woodview, can't recall).
Pull over and park, then walk the hydro path (gravel). I was on the
western corridor. That path leads west all the way to the
Beare wetland (part of Rouge park system). Crosses a
railway line on the way to Beare.
The bluebirds were half way between where you pulled
over and the railway line much farther west. You can see
the big Beare hill to the north - separated from the hydro
corridor by a chain-linked fence.
You can also come from the south but that is too complicated
to explain because of the subdivision's complexity.
