Haha, no I haven't earned free gas for life; however I do drive a hybrid that provides me a bit of relief. Yes, there's always possibility of finding nothing after such a long drive; however, the added advantage is that I get to see part of Ontario that I wouldn't have seen otherwise. Plus I get to meet many like minded people in these excursions.
….. still haven't seen the barred owl in Halls Rd despite I went twice.
Well, you aren't alone in that regard. Last time I was there was on Dec 10 and the owl didn't show up during my entire stay. However, I heard Great Horned Owl from the woods; that might have kept the Barred owl quiet.
