I recall CSS being a wonderful site for photographing Tree swallows especially
between the eastern shore of the protected marina bay and the eastern edge
of the spit, partly due to those nesting boxes. You've captured quite a bit of
action, which is especially pleasing after such a protracted slow time. You
might need a faster shutter speed even though doing so demands a higher
ISO setting. Since you don't have to crop much with your long lens you could
get away with using a high ISO and not suffer from distracting noise that
emerges when heavy cropping is required. I wish I could visit CSS more often.
Did you see any Eastern Meadowlarks? Your flycatcher sighting was likely an
E. Phoebe although someone already reported seeing a Least FC.
