New Birding App for Ontario Birders

Thanks to a dedicated group of tech savvy birders, we now have a new resource for sharing information about birding in Ontario, and rare birds especially. This new app is called "Discordapp" and can be used on both your computer and/or your smart phone. It is still in the early stages of use but membership is growing fast as birders seem to be embracing its many features. Membership is open to everyone who has an interest in birding in Ontario and who is willing to abide by the basic guidelines set up by the moderators. There are lots of helpful resources to be found on the various discussion boards that will help you to learn how to use the site.

Thanks for sharing the info Kris. I have joined the group; let's see what value does it add in addition to Ontbirds and eBird. This also seems to have many local groups as part of it - that's a good thing. Sometimes the new bird sighting first appears in a local group before it makes its way into Ontbirds.
