We saw a brown creeper in High Park, in the area of the zoo.  Isn't this a little early for migration or do brown creepers overwinter in Toronto?

Brown Creeper breed somewhat north of here but Toronto lies well within their year-round
territory. They are not particularly migratory. You could easily see one during
winter although not as often as when they are all on the move and headed to the breeding
latitude from the entire (rather wide) year-round non-breeding frontier.

Here's an animated map from eBird how the abundance of Brown Creepers change throughout the year.
