Thanks, for your kind comments. Yes, the climax came definitely when I witnessed the red-tailed hawk perform his full-cycle hunting and eating procedures. I was stupid enough to not read his body language while he's perched on the lamp pole. I was totally taken by surprise when he dive-bombed directly towards me. Well, what was on his mind was a vole twenty feet behind me and he got his kill without any problem. He then took his meal and adopted a rather low perch on a neighboring tree. This was where I got most of the pictures. Only a few minutes after finishing his meal, he even tried to attack a rabbit. But this time his prey easily got away through the thicket. Hope I can capture the true decisive moment instead of standing there paralyzed with amazement.
