Second time I heard the call now. Since I haven't been able to take my daily walks, any bird visits will be appreciated. I only managed to record the calls, couldn't get a sighting among the thick maple leaves. Please help

Sounds like a Yellow-billed Cuckoo that all choked-up about something.
How sad.

Thank you. It seemed he was having a conversation with the crow in distance. I'm just glad that I'm not imagining things :D  :D  :D

I'm disappointed.
I was gladly under the impression that you imagine all sorts of things.
If you have no imagination then you might as well dwell under the shroud
of dementia. By all means, imagine all sorts of things, whenever you can
before you lose the ability to indulge. Flights of fancy are as essential as
food and wine. No, where did I put that corkscrew?

I do. last year, I would actually ask birders I met in the parks 'do you by any chance visit Toronto and Southern Ontario Birding' website.? ' Do you happen to be called shortsighted'? if that person looked essentric enough. Because you won't take let me tag along, so I hoped to run into in parks. Neither of them said they were you. But one of them turned out to be an owl expert, who refused to show me where the snowies were. He spotted 7 that day.

That's quite amusing. If someone asked me if I was SS I would merely reply that I only
wear these eyeglasses for distance vision and pretend I didn't know what they really meant.
I do not look eccentric. I look boring, which is great because everyone leaves me alone to
continuing doing my thing. Now I am unable to do my thing so it becomes a non-issue.
Just a thought, perhaps if you spend less time looking for SS and more time looking for
owls you might have seen one of the seven ... maybe dopey ... he doesn't know how to
remain inconspicuous ... or even Grumpy because he doesn't care. If he saw seven Snowy's
that day then he might have seen seven elves as well. People lie and exaggerate because
it feels good. When you hear a tall tale ask them if it is a lie. If they say it's true ... they
are lying. I enjoy your posts and wish everyone else on this forum was as contagiously
enthusiastic as you are. That's not a lie, but do you ever really know? Good luck with your hunt
for the cuckoo, I'm cuckoo for cocoa puffs! Oops, I played the eccentric card again.
Somebody stop me!
