Hey !
Yesterday a Coopers hawk landed in my tree followed by 5 grackles
it quickly departed not finding anything the yard and was chased by the grackles
Just 5 minutes ago I catch a glimpse of some movement in the yard. I look out the back door.. Here is a Mourning dove and a Coopers hawk heading straight for my back sliding door. Bang.. Dove hits door, Coopers hawk puts on the air brakes. (I am looking out the door from my couch)
The Dove didn't make it. The grackles scared off the Coopers..Hawk didn't get the dove . Yet
