Nice, I have not seen an Oven bird, maybe ever.I don't know whether its because I went out too late, or its too windy, (or both), I didn't seen any warblers

Love those birds. When you go bird watching, the birds come watch you!

Nice variety.
Your thrush looks like a Gray-cheeked Thrush with the very plain face without eye-ring.

Very nice pictures!

I would go with a Veery on the thrush over a juvenile Gray-cheeked. Overall, the bird is very warm in colour, and I think it is too warm for Gray-cheeked. Also, the breast spotting is very faint and warm, a characteristic of Veery. In Gray-cheeked, the spotting is black in colour and much more dense and extensive. In Gray-cheeked, the spotting also goes further down the sides of the bird.  Finally, this bird has a brownish vertical throat stripe, a characteristic of Veery, not Gray-cheeked Thrush, which should show a black vertical throat stripe.

I think you are right, the colours looked muted the first time I looked at it, but I think they are warmer than I first thought.

Great set of birds and lovely analysis on the Veery. I dropped by G. Lord Ross Park yesterday morning and there were plenty of warblers but mosquitos outnumbered them probably million to one and forced me to abandon my venture inside the ticket. Still got to see a few warblers, three different flycatchers, a red-eyed vireo and a couple of Yellowlegs.
