Hey! Last week our Rose of Sharon's started to bloom in Tiny Township. This week Lots of blooms and Yesterday at 7:30 am we had a Hummingbird visit. I spotted it a number of times throughout the day...
Things are quiet here otherwise Chipping Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Nuthatches the odd Woodpecker and a few Waxwings. Last evening I did hear a Loon on Georgian Bay while sitting on the deck.
Napper :) at the Beach.

p.s. Even with camera sitting here beside me on the table couldn't get an image of Hummingbird.
Interesting site you should check out is https://spaceweather.com/

Wow, hearing a loon is a treat! I never get hummingbird. Yesterday late afternoon, I saw a small creature flying towards me, and I thought finally. Turned out to be a pair of mating Monarchs. They took off when I got my camera.

Sounds like my world. Camera on the table and nothing but weeds outside the window. Since I can't garden and also be a caregiver at the same time the variety of weeds is amazing. Some have stature bordering on majesty. I've taken an extra hummer shot for you and I'll keep it in a safe place for when you really need it. My feeder is empty and the wasps have negotiated to the canals and entered the chamber only to discover they can't get back. Addiction is a bitch and can swallow you whole. Maybe if you lived in a bigger township you might have more action. Just a thought. I'm not suppose to have thoughts ... so ... don't tell anyone ... OK? Keep posting!
