What did you do after you found them? Did you raise them to be popes?
Almost every year I find an abandoned chick, usually a cardinal chick. This mostly happens in late summer, like now. The boulevard next to the woodlot serves as nursery on this occasion. I've seen very few cardinals recently. Blue jays are becoming more abundant while the cardinals hang out elsewhere.
