I did say I was blocked in by the House Finches. I don't know the birds do human watching too. It's also the most curious that she wants to offer me that dry grass, might have mistaken me for a vegetarian. One finally crashed into the glass door and got disorientated. She hopped to the grass and rested a while before she could fly properly.

After I received my order, I set off to Rattray. Here are my findings.

If you don't like those, that's because the swans are constantly distracting me. I don't know what is going on. Maybe they want to get back together. Can they fly? The Egret was trying to show them how to solve their problem. I think he was also trying to rob the Tern

Congratulations eyes-on-the-ground on getting the Short-billed Dowitcher. The two sandpipers facing each other are Semipalmated on the left and White-rumped on the right. The semipalmated is slightly smaller and has a straight, short bill, while the WRS has a slightly downward curved bill that is a little longer. The Yellowlegs is a lesser, shorter bill than the greater.
Greater Yellowlegs has enormous bill.

I looked at the two sandpipers on your hosting site and noticed the buff legs on the bird to the right. Only Least SP and Pectoral SP have light legs, so the one on the right is not a White-rumped after all. Seems a little big for a Least and too small for a Pectoral. Perhaps a Baird's? The one on the left might even be a Sanderling (juvenile). It's been so long since I've seen these I'm losing my ability to ID them. Well done, nonetheless.

I'm still in the Kindergarten of Warbler Academy, wouldn't dream of IDing sandpipers. Now my problem is you visited my hosting site, and didn't give me any likes there, heartbroken.

Don't feel bad about it, I don't post "likes", or the like, for the same reason that I don't use emoticons. I find digital expressions in the form of clicks as brownie points, or expression icons all to be rather puerile. Even for someone as nuts as I am and expansive to whimsy, the use of online social conventions tend to rub me the wrong way. People of my age prefer communication with more substance and are in no way interested in notoriety or the # of hits. I'm not in the habit of offending anyone online (hell, beyond this forum I'm not even online ... at all) but I don't make a game of it with scores. Having been graded throughout school and then again through university I've had my fill of marks, hits, scores or medals. I like metals though, especially the way they sound when you strike them against each other. I'm up for that fashion of fanfare.
