In Greek mythology, Zeus named all the flowering plants as part of his hyperactive condition and it seems he left a few species without a moniker, so your plant felt alienated and shouted back to Zeus "forget-me-not". Zeus rolled his eyes and decided on that name, which is kind of weird considering he didn't know English, should not have understood the request and therefore viewed this plant as an alien species and you know how touchy Zeus gets about outsiders.
Photograph a different species of flowering plant every day. I did the same thing. Of course, I've forgotten most of them now. I bet it feels good to disconnect that long glass and start using a kit lens again. Your headaches are probably warbler neck and muscle strain. Then again, it could be a 2maw. Will you post each species?
