The sapsucker was about three meters away from me. On this occasion it explored the tree trunk much closer to the ground, perhaps around 2.5 meters from ground zero. As a result, I didn’t have to resort to elaborate shenanigans to get into position. I didn’t use a ladder this time. I put the drone back in the box and didn’t bother looking for a climbing harness. I cancelled the forklift, which I was considering to do away with anyway because I can’t stand that beep, beep, beep it makes when reversing. I just stood there on the boulevard and sang along with the music. Those stage monitors can be heard half way down the street, let along just across the street. It occurred to me that the bird was a sucker for music too.

Haha, wise. I am terribly afraid of height.
