Lots of migratory birds in the street-side woodlot for about an hour this morning, as per sightings report posted earlier today. Also walked to a wet area on the other side of the woodlot but couldn't stay very long.

Juvenile Palm warbler

Juvenile Chestnut-sided warbler

Either juvenile Bay-breasted warbler or juvenile Blackpoll warbler (probably the former)

Heavy crop of Tennessee warbler

Work kept me indoors during the weekdays and thus missed outdoor activities on these favorable conditions. However, I usually see a few at my backyard, not so this year, it has been very quiet.

Believe me, if my father didn't sleep so well in the morning I wouldn't have been able to walk down the street and peruse the woodlot. By 8:30 a.m. I start to feel guilty and head back. It's only a 5 minute walk. So, in a way, I can't go out either because of work. It's just caregiver work and it is seven days a week.
