Kind of exciting morning with warm sun. My Boscobel finally is ready to bloom. She has fruity fragrance.
Then the Cardinal girl came for a sip of water in the lily bowl. I also got a nuthatch followed me to the door, but photos were not good.

On my way to work, I met a garter who was basking in sun. He tried to warn me away

By golly, that serpent is wearing a dried brown leaf ... right up to its head (neck?) like a cape. All it needs now to complete the look is a stiff turned-up collar. That sort of thing is trending right now.
