This morning I caught a very quick glimpse of a very different looking bird along our back fence. The only thing I've come up with is a Female Pine Grosbeak. It made a very sweet sounding peep peep and flew away. It did not display much colour other than a Gray Breast and underside with a white spot near its beak.

I watched a project feeder watch vid on Youtube that had sounds that were very similar to what I heard.

I'll keep looking for it. Not much going on here a  few Junco's, some Chickadee's and the odd Nuthatch. Jays are still stealing peanuts next door.
