Early Morning Blues

Getting the early morning blues was actually quite enjoyable. The low sun this morning, without intervening cloud, provided the intense kind of light that my old sensor needed to shoot at a lower ISO setting. I was wearing a camo-themed chest wader in addition to a camo poncho. A pond-side tree helped to brace my camera.

Alternatively, after wading through water a couple of feet deep, I stationed myself on a nearby mound located above water level and offering a somewhat better angle of view of the nesting cavity hole, now presenting at about 45 degree angle.
