The highlight of today is someone approached me and said: you seem to know a lot about birds, can you ID this for me? Lucky it was only Catbird and Warbling Vireo.


And I saw my first Ovenbird.

Keep at it and you'll eventually see almost everything you want to see. Besides, at this time of year it is as good as it gets.
