Great West Territories? Not really. Not even the Yukon. Green winged Teal are in abundance on just about any marsh. I checked one wetland in the Rouge this morning and found quite a few, along with female Northern Shoveler ducks and Mallards. Much farther out there were also wood ducks. A few days ago there was a phalarope visiting the marsh but I didn't see it because I wasn't present. Today, as usual though, regardless of the location, the constant parade of dog walkers and loud Bluetooth equipped pedestrians made photography a chore. I couldn't get down to water level but I may try something soon to make a lower perspective possible. Then again, I may not bother.
