Scarborough park kinglet invasion

I had barely left the car behind and I could already hear the twitter of myriad kinglets. I looked up into the canopy and there they were all over the place, albeit mostly high up. Both Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned were present in numbers and they were behaving as frenetically as warblers, if not more so. The GCK were more likely to descend down from the treetops than the RCKs. The main problem to getting any photos of them was the incessant transit of dog walkers and people who seem to need to talk on their mobile while in the park. There was almost no point in following a kinglet until it came into the open, or into a brighter-lit area because someone was always going to come along and spook it. A winter wren I discovered was in deep gloom, as these little birds are wont to be, and so my shutter speed was too slow at ISO 800 and I missed all shots due to motion blur and pedestrian interruption. I took off my TC and used the prime lens for a while but the wren never reappeared. I spotted a couple of Hermit thrush and managed a shot each time between desultory interruptions. I was hoping to see a Pileated WP but failed to locate one, yet was pleased by the conciliatory find of a Yellow-bellied sapsucker.
