I have been a plane spotter since I was a Kid, Laying on the deck with Bins watching the jets flying over the Niagara region. This interest turned into a long career in Aviation manufacturing.

On a good day here in Halton on the approach to 5 and 6 at Pearson we get to see many on approach. Yesterday was a good day when the low clouds cleared out. Finally figured out a good system "radarbox site"
plus "liveatc site" set to the approach at Pearson is much better than flightaware.

B777-300ER on approach to CYYZ yesterday  flight from Japan. I also have a Scanner that pics up multiple broadcasts, Air, Fire, Ambulance, Road reports and some police

Added some missing punctuation and another B777 from from a few moments earlier.

My husband worked on the rig to test the landing gear for the triple 7 at Menasco back in the mid 90s.  He worked R & D testing jet engines for many years and on the Ironbird for the Global Express.

Cool! I worked at Downsview as a Process Planner on Dash-8's and Lear wing, then ended up as a  Functional test writer (FTP)  on the Q400. Worked closely with Landing Gear rep in the delivery center during my last few years there. Just a few of my many tasks.

FTP= Functional test procedures.
