Very nice! I always hope to get the red crown of the kingbirds, but have had no luck. Hope you will get it in your next outing!

Thanks Charline.  I don't think that the kingbird's red coronal feathers are likely to be seen at this time of year.  Maybe during the pride parade when 'colour' is the order of the day.  I once considered photographing the pride parade in B&W.  Someone said that was a special kind of stupid.  Then again, I don't really like parades.  They are so linear  ... no tangents ... unless there is a riot, mob control measures instigated, injuries, mayhem, and then someone writes a hit song about it, and then you realize it's all been done before, and the affair navigates a full circle, which is nature's way. WHAT AM I EVEN TALKING ABOUT!
