What a video challenge! The excitement of a thrill-ride minus the actual ride part. Leave it to the Americans to come up with that idea. Canadian planners would be gobsmacked and therefore deterred by the required insurance coverage. You managed to keep your lens dry for most of the experience and your microphone was still working, although somewhat choked on the frequency band. Imagine stumbling upon this site on your own, hundreds of years ago, and how thunderstruck you would be by this awesome location, and by the wooden infrastructure seemingly build by a long lost civilization that somehow had access to wood preserver. Now, further still, imagine being there at night with someone you didn't really trust. Imagine having to spend a full 24 hours on the site, night and day, and then climbing out into bright, warm sunlight and looking a little like the creature from the Black Lagoon. I'm troubled though. Tell me now and be truthful ... did they supply towels afterwards? Did you steal any? Can I have one? Why did so many people take off their requisite rain coats? I bet none of them were Canadian because they always do as they are told.
