I came across a particularly busy example of limestone that was populated by fossils. A fine example of
fossiliferous limestone. That got me thinking about Fossil watches and that, in a way, this rock is also a time piece, frozen in time, you know, like when you know the murder took place because the watch is cracked and stopped at the very of time of the assault. Speaking of a salt, limestone is mostly calcium carbonate, a salt compound. That's it, of course, why didn't I see it before, the assault took place on a compound, constructed of limestone, and the fossils are all witnesses. But how does one question a fossil? Would I, ... they ... even understand modern interrogation techniques. What were these fossils even thinking when they congregated cheek to jowl. Well, I guess that they were not fossils at the time, just fans. Fans of what? Were they protesters? Was this a rally that got buried by the powers that were? Man, I hope these shrooms never where off. This stream-of-consciousness is a rush. Thank you Jack Kerouac for the hidden message on where to harvest them.
