It was still quite cool this morning at 7 o'clock but there was no wind.  Once again full sun with a blood red orange in the sky above the lake and partially shrouded by thin cloud.  Much less bird activity compared to the previous day.  Most spots appeared dead quiet upon arrival and only after standing for a while did something twitch, generally high up, or in dismal shadow.  A small raptor suddenly appeared now and then, always seen into the sun.  It was shaped like a P. falcon.  No new arrivals today, just the usual.
