This morning I was out on the driveway packing up to head home for a while when I noticed birds on my roof searching for food. I counted up to seven little tiny things mixed in with a few White breasted nuthatches.Looked like Warblers I snapped a few pics and repacked the camera in the car.
I'll post some images when we get home.

One bounced off of our kitchen window and landed on the weeds in the front yard. After 15 minutes or so it flew away.

Wow, a warbler roof.  Looks like Myrtle, Palm and Nashville.  You don't even need to leave home.

Thanks
There was a weather event last evening at around 18:00 hrs that lasted till 23:00 hrs, torrential rain and temperature drop shortly after. 25 C to 15C in a half an hour.
This morning it was very cool before departing 14C. Maybe this was the trigger.

Note: it was a very dry summer up there. Temps were not extreme but warm during the day and cool nights. Arriving home in Halton everything was much more lush looking including my grass which we do not water.

That's very interesting.

I saw a lot of small birds in my neighborhood yesterday. Maybe also due to the temperature change?
