October 8th - Rouge

Very cold this morning ( 7 degrees ) but plenty of raw light.  I started at 7:50 and there was lots of sparrow activity.  The WT sparrows are back but still no WC sparrows seen.  Sparrows mixed with first Juncos (for me).  YBSS are still present but less activity.  No warblers, but a few RC kinglets.  Bird appearances dried up by about 8:30.  I was please to see both a male and female Eastern towhee, as well as a Winter wren.
