I'm looking outside at the storm, watching the snowflakes, each arrant crystal the diameter of a marble, all moving in chaos, in every direction. It reminds me of the recent ice storm, which was minor within the GTA, but entirely a another matter farther north where havoc reigns. I've heard a politician exclaim that Canada is broken, to which I respond ... nothing that duct tape can't fix ... the system has been using it for years. Some of our oldest institutions are worth their weight in duct tape, made by 3M, or Johnson & Johnson ... making the US rich. I reckon, after that ice storm, that much of Southern Ontario is broken, with bits of nature strewn all over the place. Anyway, the GTA got off easy. The snow out there just reminded me that I walked out to the street-side woodlot after the ice storm and took a few pictures ... nothing much, for it's hard to capture something so relatively subtle. I just checked them out and have posted three of them. No birding today!
