I agree with Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam ... it's hot, damn hot. At 6:30 this morning it wasn't exactly hot, but it was humid, man was it humid. I figured that a trip down the street to the local drainage pond wasn't beyond my ken, so I grabbed my backpack, mat and camera and headed off to the newly renovated pond. Lots of dragonflies there. Two Solitary sandpipers and at least two Spotted sandpiper (juvenile). It took a while before they got used to me, but I was eventually accepted because I'm so lovable.
