Hi, I am new to your forum, inspired by all the photos!
Also new to bird feeding/watching (addicted now....)
3 days ago my husband called as he was home, and a hawk was eating a bird just below my feeder. He did not have my camera handy. When I came home, you could still see the feathers in the snow.
A red-tailed hawk had been seen near my house 2X in the last month, so i am pretty sure it was the same one.
Since this "event", the birds seem to have disappeared from my feeder. (I wouldn't come back either....). Is there anything I can do to help entice them back? Or does it just take some time.
Thanks,
Jayme
