Just watched a male Eastern Bluebird thoroughly checking out the birdbox.

He's alternating between the box and then perching at the top of a spruce tree.

Isn't this a little early?

Here's a pic.......crappy camera  ......through a window and heavily cropped......but clear enough to ID

Cool stuff

great addition to your GBBC

In Dec 2005 I spotted a pair near my parents house not far from lake Erie..

My guides show them as year rounders down there. Its really not that far away.

Two weeks ago Robins and kinglets  on 15th side rd.

Where in Halton are you?

Napper.

p.s My wife and I were nosing around up 4th line (Nassagaweya) yesterday as far as 25th side road and then home.

Hey neighbour,
I'm at confederation st/ 22nd sideroad (unopened section) area. I'm keeping my eyes open for that bluebird. Had a flock of them stop at our waterbath two winters ago, and never saw them again.
Have a rose breasted nut hatch here today

Hey..

Our youngest was at a horse camp getaway this weekend. "Rocky Ridge Ranch"

Had to pick her up at 5th line(Nass) South of 15th side rd. at three.. so we took the op and drove up and down and across a few country roads today

Used 22nd side rd to Limehouse then South on 5th line Halton.  Really quiet other than a few Redtails. :(

Got home just in time for the big race..

The picture of your bluebird doesn't show up anymore. Could you post it again?
