Around 4 o'clock this afternoon, while passing by the Yellowpages building, we spotted one of the pair coming up from the parking lot to a street lamp. For about the next hour, we saw the two share a adult ring-billed gull for dinner. Looks like the female took the gull, and the male came in slowly for a piece of dinner.

First we see her with the kill

He tries to sneak in

and then comes in from the other side, with longing looks.

She finally lets him in for a few bites... she'd eaten quite a bit of the gull at this point

She leaves and he's dining alone now

Shot from our car... some of these are not cropped.

Thanks for the comments everyone.... it was amazing to watch the two for almost 1 hr. The antics of the male around the female were hilarious to watch. I wish I had a video camera to document it.

Amazing captures!  I love how bright yellow their talons and beaks are, as well as those big black eyes. They are really beautiful birds.

Awesome shots! Peregrines have got to be the most grotesque eaters ever... It may be morbid but you've gotta laugh... :)
