After spending the am at the Spit, I headed over to CSSP for the afternoon. Notables included a red necked grebe, many horned grebes, about 6 white winged scoters, and the usual suspects including buffleheads, long tails, scaups, goldeneyes, redheads and red breasted and common mergansers. In the raptor department I saw 3 Am. Kestrels at various locations throughout the park.
In the wildlife department, I was fortunate to see 2 different minks but only managed photos of one as it bounded accross some ice in the marina against the lake side shore. I'm putting those photos up in the wildlife section in just a minute.
